Clinton Smith, music director April 2007 – Benefit for C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House Within a Hospital. Fanfare from Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss, Franz von Suppe’s Poet and Peasant Overture, two pieces with guest soloist 13-year-old Jourdan Urbach: Violin Concerto No. 5, Op. 37 by Henri Vieuxtemps, Carmen Fantasie by Pablo de Sarasate. Also Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Grieg, and William Tell Overture by Giacchino Rossini. John Goodell, music director January 2006 – "An Orkney Wedding, with sunrise” by Peter Maxwell Davies, featuring bagpipe soloist Ewan MacPherson, “A Christmas Dance (Sir Roger de Coverly)” by Frank Bridge, and Symphony No. 3, op. 56 by Felix Mendelssohn. May 2005 – Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's overture from The Magic Flute, Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 4 in E flat, first movement featuring concerto Competition co-winner Matt Shevrin, Violin Concerto, second movement by Jean Sibelius, featuring Concerto Competition co-winner Giant Lin, Finlandia by Sibelius, and two works by Aaron Copland: Appalachian Spring, and El Salon Mexico.
